Sydney Point
At a distance of 2 km from Panchgani Bus Stand, Sydney Point is one of the famous viewpoints in Panchgani hill station in Satara district of Maharashtra.
Sydney Point is situated on a hill that faces Krishna Valley. It was named after Sir Sidney Beckwarth, Commander in Chief, who succeeded Sir John Malcolm as Bombay's Governor in 1830. Sydney Point is famous for providing charming views of the Krishna Valley, Dhom Dam, Kamalgad Fort and the city of Wai. The hillock also offers beautiful views of the serene Walkeshwar Temple, which is about 4 kms away from Panchgani.
The campus of the famous Indian Military Academy is situated just near Sydney Point. The barracks and bungalows on this campus are also popular with tourists. Table Land
Table Land Point is a picnic spot situated at an elevation of 4550 feet above sea level. It is one of the best tourist spots in Panchgani. This point can be reached from Panchgani Bus Stand by taking a bus to Kasara. Once you reach Table Land, do not forget to visit the Table Land Point where one gets an excellent view of the Western Ghats and Panchagani on a clear day

Rajpuri Caves
At a distance of 7 km from Panchgani Bus Station, Rajpuri Caves are one amongst the most ancient attractions of the Panchgani region. There are four caves and these ancient caves are surrounded by many water kunds. It is believed that these caves were used for penance and religious rituals by Lord Kartikeya. It is also said to be the home of Pandavas during their exile. Devotees believe that taking bath in these holy kunds will provide relief from all kinds of diseases and evils.

Parsi Point
Parsi Point is a scenic point in Panchgani, at a distance of 2 km from the bus stand. This point is located on the way to Mahabaleshwar and can be reached by taking left from the main road just before entering Panchgani town. The views from this spot are spectacular, giving you not only picturesque views of the backwater area of Dhom dam and Krishna valley but also some awesome mountain views as well.

Day 2-WAI – DHOM DAM
Wai
Wai is a village in the Satara District of Maharashtra, India. It lies near to the Krishna River, which defines its eastern and southern areas.
Wai has some historical prominence; two important Maratha Brahmin queens Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi and Rani Gopikabai, wife of Nanasaheb Peshwa were born here. Wai is famous for its seven Ghats (landing platforms on riverbanks), including Desaigad . Desaigad Ghat is famous for the temple of Lord Vithal or Vitthal, which is on the banks of River Krishna. Wai was visited by Mahatma Gandhi frequently, and he preached Satyagraha to his followers at Wai during India's Independence movement. It is here that Vinoba Bhave started his Bhoodan movement.

Dhom Dam
At a distance of 21 km from Panchgani & 97 km from Pune, Dhom Dam is an earth fill and gravity dam situated near Wai in the Satara district of Maharashtra. It is one of the popular places to visit as part of Panchgani tour packages, and among the well-known places to visit near Pune for one day trip.
Built on the Krishna River, the construction of the dam was started in 1976 and completed in 1982. It is one of the largest civil engineering projects in India at that time and also the first dam to be made after independence. The water level of the dam is at a height of 83 metres and covers an area of around 2,000 hectares
